Well, It’s been one week since I decided to join the gym and so I decided that each week I would let you all know how I am doing on the road to a healthier new me..
One of my biggest problems is that I often get bored and especially if I don’t see any results. So, that was one of my issues this week.
Let me let you in on a little secret, Continue reading

For the longest time I have been wanting to go and explore Asolo. So many people have told me it’s one of the most charming cities in the Province of Treviso..
Asolo is known as “The pearl of Treviso” and I must admit that after spending the morning exploring this quaint town, I too agree.
Here are some photos of my adventure in Asolo.
I think exploring towns is best in the low season.. We went in the Winter and there was barely anyone around.. We had Asolo all to ourselves. And the weather couldn’t have been any better.
Smallest intersection lights that I have ever seen.. How could I not take a photo of them?
Old mailbox that is still used today.. Some things never change.
Have you ever been to Asolo? What is your favorite memory about exploring this charming hillside town?
A year ago today, we were in a 16th Century villa shooting a commercial for an Italian insurance company based out of Verona.
It was a lovely experience. Something we will always cherish. Great memories were made that November day.
Here are a few photos I took of the inside of the Villa.
Friendships were also made
Oh the stories that Nonna, who was at the time 99 years old told..
Mr. Mini Hollywood and I on the set.
All in all it was a great experience. We made new friendships, learned about the Italian life and when our son is older he’ll have this video to look back on.
My husband and I both work six days a week so on Sunday we like to have “family” day. We love exploring cities in Veneto or escaping to the Venetian countryside.
Last Sunday, we visited one of my favorite cities, Bassano Del Grappa!! One of the perks of living in Treviso is I’m only a 35 minute drive to the town that’s famously known for inventing grappa. Grappa is made from the left over stems and seeds of the grapes. It’s a rather strong liquor and quite usually Italians have it in their café.
What are your plans for Sunday?
