The majority of Northern Italians buy their wine from local cantina’s in the area. We have about 2 or 3 that we continuously go to to get wine.

The springs of Gorgazzo are a site to behold. They have been called, “delizia e tormento di moti pittori,” as they are both a delight and a torment to paint because of their ever-changing colors from the rays of the sun.
It took a little over two years for me to officially settle into my adopted city. Believe it or not for the first two years or so, I just worked so much and didn’t really immerse myself in the culture, the Italian life or the people. Big mistake!!!! Rewind four years ago, I slaved away at my at home job inside my tiny one bedroom apartment and would occasionally go for walks for with Harley, my mini poodle in the evenings.
Last night, I arrived home late, and was hungry… I needed to whip something up quick, yet healthy and light.
I searched through my refrigerator and found Eggplant, Mozzarella and Turkey sausage.
And 15 minutes later….
Walking along the “Mura” is one of my favorite things to do in Treviso.
