Uva fragola from Vittorio’s garden in October.
Uva Fragola which translates to Strawberry grape got its name from the sweet pulp that it produces.
As promised, every Sunday, I will share with you just a few of my favorite things about living in Italy.
I originally thought about sharing what I adore and love about Italy leading up to my 4 year anniversary;however, I think its kind of fun and a great way to stay positive, so I may just continue this series even after I have celebrated my four years.. haha lets see 🙂
I have had a bit of writers block as to what to write about this evening.
And then I thought, as I was devouring 2 scoops of gelato from my favorite gelerteria in Treviso..
I simply adore going to the farmer markets in the province of Treviso.
This morning, I went to the mercato in Montebelluna.
Nothing better than meeting the people who grow the food that we eat.
Seasonal eating at it’s best!
It doesn’t get any better than home grown blackberries!! Almost ready to harvest.
It just doesn’t get any fresher than this!
