È arrivata la neve

Well, finally the snow has arrived in Italy.. Everyone should be just as thrilled as I am… There is nothing more magical than watching the snow fall..

Brings back childhood memories of going to Lake Tahoe and sledding around with my brother and cousins or building snowmen or making snow angels.

Back where I am from, in California, it never snows, so we always headed to the mountains of Lake Tahoe for a snow trip. 25 years later, I still reminisce as if it was yesterday.

Now living in Northern Italy, I get to watch the excitement in my sons eyes as the first snowfall has arrived. Something, I never was able to experience growing up in a small village in Northern California.

Col Visentin is in between the provinces of Treviso and Belluno and not far to reach from Treviso.

Walking through the snow and capturing the beautiful landscapes of the rolling hills of Veneto covered in white was such a highlight of my Sunday morning.

Does it snow where you live? Do you have any fond childhood memories with the snow?

Let me know by leaving me a note in the comment section below.
