Summer in Italy

A lot of people ask me when is the best time to come to Treviso and surrounding areas.. And really it depends on what you like..

If you don’t mind the heat and humidity, I would suggest coming during July and August as they are the hottest months throughout Italy.  The locals are usually no where to be found in the city center. Most of them are at the mountains or at the sea.

Yesterday evening, I had a Sunday stroll through my adopted city, Treviso. There was nobody around. It was so nice. Usually on Sunday, you can’t even walk in the city center its so crowded and full of people BUT in July and August, the story changes.

Here are a couple of the photos I took last night.

I love how the sun brought out the frescoes on this old building.

Quiet streets on a Sunday evening.. Lucky me! A photographers dream.

A romantic dinner for one.

So colorful

What is your favorite season to visit Italy?   Happy Monday friends, hope you all have a great start of the week 🙂   Xoxo
