I adore all of the festivals throughout the year in Italy.. One of my favorites of all times is the Carnevale which is held in Venice. Living 30 minutes away from the city of water is wonderful;however, this year I wasn’t able to make it..
I can’t imagine being in Venice with up to 100.000 people walking around, while I would be pushing my 19 month old around. No way could it be possible. Besides, i am not a fan of big crowds, I am very claustrophobic person.
BUT
A dear friend of mine did go to Venice and she took amazingly beautiful photos that I want to share with you.
Her name is Antonella Loschi and she is NOT a professional photographer but you couldn’t tell that by looking over her photos! She has a way with her camera. I am a BIG fan of her work.
“Photography is my passion, and I like taking pictures of Treviso which is my hometown and of Venice, which is a world apart and where I go as often as I can”
When she isn’t taking photos, she is teaching French at a hotel and restaurant vocational school.
Antonella was kind enough to let me show you all her photographs of the Carnival. So, thank you so much Antonella.

Such gorgeous photographs! Which one is your favorite?
So hard to choose, I know. I love them all..
